I've got Trouble- cAse 1 CSI original game- UV light

I've got trouble getting the UV light to work in the initial game of CSI
I can't get past the fist part of looking at the body with the UV LIGHT
Can anyone help me I'm getting cheezed off

The UV light must be used at just the right spot. Try UV lighting the victim's entire neck area- you might just be missing "exposing" all of the area you need- the game is very picky that way. When you have exposed all that the game wants you to, you'll get the video.

I can't get the UV light to even bugde out of it's slot in the panel

You should be able to use the UV light just by clicking on it in your panel- are you able to get the other tools? If this is the first CSI game you've played, just be patient- somethings are not as you would expect, but once you get the quirks, you'll be fine.

Experiment with clicking once or twice- that should be able to get you the tool. When you have it, your arrow mouse pointer will become the tool itself and then you can use it on the body and other important evidence and finds.

I can't get any of the other tools to work either I'll try leaving the light or a while to try to get it to work. I can't get it even though I've
tried both double & single clicking & yup I am a rookie at this & all other games as well. I don't know if you can help me wiht Dark Motives would you be able too I have a problem with the game freezing up on me me
so I can't even start it Thanks,

If you can get any of the other tools to work- you might need the patch. Ditto for the Dark Motives freezing; I had that before I downloaded and installed the patch [available off the ubisoft support site- URL in your game manual], and everything worked fine. I've never heard of the tools not working in the first game though, but maybe you're the only one that has posted about it so far. You should be able to select your tools reasonably easily, so maybe it just needs the game patch to fix it up.
