help needed for newbie- what do the grey/yellow/red dots on the evidence tags mean??

Hi, I'm completely new to computer games and I've just started playing CSI: In and Out. I'm a bit stuck; I've done all the evidence gathering and analysing, interrogating etc but can't make an arrest.

I 've tried to do a fingerprint search and a comparison on the partial from the medicine bottle, but each time it comes up negative. Am I meant to find a match? Also, when i click on the lab computer I only get a 'search and compare' button to click on; I haven't got a 'print' tab like some people on the forum seem to have.

Also, the manual says the evidence tags are either grey or yellow (?) depending on how far you are with analysing the evidence. Mine are all the same colour which is off white with a red dot!

where am i going wrong or can i blame the game?!

This goes in the case help forum

This might help you:

GREY DOT on tag = not analyzed
YELLOW DOT= somewhat analyzed
RED DOT= you have finished analyzing this piece of evidence.

There is no "PRINT" tab on the lab computer- you simply search and compare the prints, etc. as you are doing.

I hope that you can find some tips in the case help forum- or if possible, you can list what evidence you have found- that helps us guess what you have missed doing
