Can't lift fingerprints.

I've used the brush to dust for prints on the remote and on the TV but when I try to use the Electrostatic thingy, Grissom says I can't use that here. I tried every tool in detectilon and collection and receive the same message.

Which tool do I use to lift prints? What am I failing to do?

To my recollection, I remember Cath telling me that there were too many prints on the remote and none worth saving. I would suggest that you use Ninhydrin on the TV.

If your playing the PC version the prints would automatically be in your evidence panel.
