bypass asking Grissom a question

I can't get 100% on #1. I can't bypass asking for help. The game won't let me bypass asking Grissom a question, so I am only 99%. Can someone please tell me how....Thanks!

I don't believe to affects your score. At one time, I had 100% for the first game and I got to ask Grissom a question since it was part of the tutorial. I accidentally erased my game and now months am trying to retrace the steps of that game.

It is possible not to ask Grissom the question- I managed to do it once by just clicking out of the area [moving the mouse to the side of the screen to exit]. However, I think this only works if you have previously solved the case before and are replaying it [either for fun or to get the elusive 100%].

However, asking questions in the first CSI case doesn't seem to effect your score as much as the next cases- so maybe something else is keeping you from getting 100%, just as GabbyTroy suggests.

was also struggling to get 100% but i followed the walkthrough on this site and it gave me 100% would recommend looking at that to see if you've missed anything. In this i also asked Grissom that first question so it didn't have any effect on 100%.

During thee tutorial, you're allowed to ask Grissom a question , however, after the tutorial finishes, you're no longer allowed to ask without being docked some points.
