I'm stuck! I've read the walkthrough as well as other questions posted here and still can't seem to get something right to get the trash cans to show up (in the driveway) so I can find the tape recording. The crime scene is checked off and I have all the evidence except the tape from the driveway scene. No one has anything further to say. The only pieces of evidence that don't have a check mark are the broken cup (I'm assuming waiting or the missing piece), the tail-light pieces (I'm assuming waiting to be hooked to the vehicle later) and the bloody fingerprint. If my problem is the bloody fingerprint, the only fingerprint I have to try to match it to is the partial from the fireplace poker and that is not a match. What am I missing or doing wrong? I'm apparenely stuck until I can get the trash cans to show up.

I processed the blood and tire treads, those are both checked off now in my evidence files. When I processed the tire treads it told me what kind of vehicle they went to. Is there some way I'm supposed to process the taillight pieces other than try to put them together? It's on the assembly table but I can't put them together. From reading the other help information it sounds like this will come later in the game after the vehicle is in the garage. I haven't found any other way to process them. Thank you for your help.

yeah you process them later once you id the ire tread grissom should pop in for a cutscene, he will say that he will go to brass and put an apb on the van for you... did you get this scene? (cause the cans appear on your next trip to the driveway after this cutscene airs) also, did you process the fingerprints on the poker, the blood on it... and go to robbins for the confirmation that it is the murder weapon? |

Unbelievable! The one thing holding me up was going to Robbins to ask if the fire poker could be the murder weapon. As soon as I did that, Grissom came in for the cutscene and everything else worked. Got the trash cans to show up and got the tape. Thank you!
