CASE 1: Burnt Shoes

A Call from an anonymous pay phone alerts police about 2 dead bodies floating in the Nyugen River, you have just arrived, and are now on the case.
Police are already trying to track down the anonymous caller, and to as why he doesnt want to be found, concentrate on your case first, as the evidence will eventually point its finger with very little help

JIM: Hey, your the new graveyard shift boy then?
Im Jim Davies, head of operations and the boss, tonights case is a bit extreme, but hey, nothing like a tough one to start, the call is we have 2 vic's, man and woman, floating in the Nyugen River downtown, now we have to act fast, as many boats are trying to get past our crime scene, so we have to act fast. We will take the MAU, incase any evidence needs to be quickly processed."

A) Examine the river-DONE

A) Examine The River
You examine the river, not taking much noticeof the bodies for now.
You notice 2 things out of place in particular. A High Arc Rolland Watch, a very expensive make, stuck in between the lily pads further on down, and notice an plastic bottle also stuck in the same position.

B) Look around for evidence near the edge of the river.

A2) Take Watch
The watch is in perfect working order, with just a few scratches and cuts on it, as it is a waterproof brand. You notice that their is a hair fiber stuck in the latch, you take it, analyse it and then report it. It comes back as a male arm hair, which is kind of expected, as you do wear it on your arm. However, no matches were in the database.

B2) You examine the bottle, however it could have just been a bottle normally floating along the river. You decide against analysing it, but keep it just in case.

A3) You examine the patch, but cannot find any trace of excellerant or flammable liquid residue. You do notice that the fire patch is in the shape of 2 weird banana shapes however.
