Help can't find second gun where is it

I've got a problem. I'm towards the end of the game and I'm suppose to click on the Old West Tourist Museum (the crime scene). I'm to click on the table and then find the scratch. I've looked all over and I can't find a scratch!! On one of my looks, I thought I saw a small, faint scratch, but my cursor doesn't turn green. Where is the scratch? and I've tried to collect the metal fragment at Grissoms feet, but nothing is there! Please help me!!!

Look on the bottom of the table facing Catherine and Grissom. Use Mikrosil. The zipper fragment is, indeed, at Grissom's foot . Use the magnifying glass and the tweezers.

I still can't find it. Catherine is not in the picture, it is only Grissom. I need to get over this hurdle before I can go forward in the game. I've been on the lower part of the table, on the legs of the table, around on the edging of the table,and on the upper part of the table. I've even gone over to the counter and the table behind the counter, no luck. How can I use the magnifying glass if the cursor doesn't even turn green so I can? It would help alot if I could use the magnifying glass on the table and around the foot of Grissom. It must be there somewhere, but where? All the evidence is checked off.

Has Catherine mentioned to Gris about him obsessing re the likenesses of the trips yet? That's the turning point. You still have to ask Brass for a warrant to search the trips' room. Skip the legs, the edging and the upper part of the table. It's not to be seen there. Look only on the underside.

As I said, that was the turning point!
