Well I have a feeling that just about every fundamental design choice for this game is long made (I think they even recorded the voice for it they said), so our suggestions aren't going to affect too much at this point. Based on the 4 screens I'm excited. I'm expecting and hoping for something a lot like 3 Dimensions of Murder with cool improvements, and it sounds like that's what we're getting. Luckily the game will be on shelves in only three months, so surely there'll soon be some new screenshots and previews popping up that will be worth discussing.

But yeah, it'd be nice to see more fan interest!

the ps2 version of TDOM is slotted for release on Feb 6th 2007

and if the conversion of the original 2 csi games over to xbox is any indication of how tdom will be converted, them the interface and menus will be diffrent, and the gameplay itself will be very similar (with only a few minor changes and bug fixes)

i was chatting with greg over on the telltale games forum and he said that i should contact ubisoft to answer some of my questions, so to make a long story short, i contacted ubisoft and i got the usual bull "we are glad you have taken an intrest in our future csi projects..................blah, blah, blah"

so i contacted penelope, a friend of mine in the ubisoft P.R. department, and while she is not directly involved with the csi franchise............she did tell me this,

- Hard evidence and the ps2 version of TDOM are the only two currently planned csi games for 2007

- new cases will not be released for the csi games over the internet because they will not get as much exposure as the game itself (because most players do not go searching the internet for new cases) and because loose files (not on the original disc) are easily lost if the user ever deletes the game and must be backed up or re-acquired

- it appears that the voice alikes for sara and catherene are not the same as in the last game, the new voice alikes are used in the actual tv show for dialoge re-recording all the time

it also seems that ubisoft may persue the cast of csi new york for a future csi title because they may have access to the entire cast, which is smaller and less expensive than the vegas cast..............and the ubisoft gaming rights cover the entire csi franchise which includes csi ny, so a NY game is indeed possible

i also found out that telltale is not alowed to release or say anything without ubisoft approval under threat of fines or loss of the franchise rights, so do not pressure them to give us any new info on the game...............they will give us what they can when they can untill the game is released, and it seems that they are in the dark on some things just like us

i just love these games and have played them all...i have been waiting forever till the new Hard Evidence comes out...i'm in australia so it may take a while :(.
One thing i would luv, was if it was possible to download extra cases when u have finished playing. The games just never seem to last long enough.
Keep up the good work guys...u do an amazing job.
