CSI: Hard Evidence Announced!... may the speculating begin!

Temporary Mod thread- hi-jacking

With the new game just announced today, we obviously need a place to start speculating, predicting and spreading rumours. I thought we would temporarily house it here until our beloved Admin can create a new forum for CSI: Hard Evidence.

What we know so far: it's with the Las Vegas crew again, and the graphics are a bit improved from the previous full rendered game [especially Brass in my opinion of the screenshot].

When we get the new forum set up, we'll have a screen shot thread as usual. The zip file below is from ubisoft and is virus free [I've scanned it, etc.], so if you can't wait, go right ahead and check them out.

Hope they looked at our wishlist!

YAY! A new CSI game- Thanks Greg for letting us know! [We all began salivating upon hearing new CSI game ]

I had a comment in the other thread about how the demo [the first room] of Sam and Max appears to be kid-friendly- however, Udvarnoky pointed out the rest of it isn't so kid-oriented, so don't let the cartoon characters and the demo fool you like it did me They are detectives though, so perhaps it will pacify some of us until the new CSI game comes out

Sam & Max is great and funny, I didn't mean to turn you away from it. It's not that it's this mature-themed game either, or even close to it, it's just that I wouldn't call it a kids game anymore than I'd call The Simpsons a show for kids. What I was trying to get at is that you'd probably get more out of it than a child player would. Definitely worth a purchase.

Also, since all Telltale's games use the same (constantly evolving) engine, the technical aspects of Sam & Max might give you an idea of the improvements the next CSI will feature. It is also in my opinion Telltale's best game yet - and there's still five more episodes on the way!

hello all i am back from the dead (a new csi game does that to me) ...........anyway, i figured that your game lab was working on a new csi title for some time now (since the franchise rights never changed hands) and i am happy that you are keeping the tradition of a early spring release

and i must say how excited i am that you are keeping our little website up to date by feeding us information yourself (rather than us searching the net for it)

personally, i would like to see a serial killer case...............where you have several crime scenes in one case, or i would like to see a case that involves a fire, but i have a feeling that we not be seeing any of these in the new game. but regardless of what the five cases are about, i want to see the return of "The behind the scenes extras" that you get by achieving 100% in a case that went missing after telltale picked up the franchise

by the way, are you going to release the game on pc first and then on ps2 a few months later like TDOM or are you going to release both formats at the same time...............never mind, it is going to be on pc only

Yes, we are very happy to be re-adding the Unlockable Bonus Items! That was very important to us, and our fans.

There are also extra new gameplay features, so for players like you that have already mastered the franchise, you can expect to see new challenges and extra rewards!
