It seems that we all forget that Horatio and Company are only policemen who have " backed into" crime scenes and not CSI'S primarily whereas Grissom and Mac Taylor are. Concerning Jericho, the idea of living in a post-apocalyptic world is frightening, to say the least!

Still- it is Crime Scene Investigation: Miami- there are times on the show when they don't do very much investigating- for example chasing Riaz around. While I don't mind it being more of a cop show, I really wish it would stop it with the random, so convenient evidence finding [eg. Calleigh finding the apple in the very busy park area by a busy apartment with a busy cafe that just so happend to have evidence they could use] and the Horatio posing- I know it's sometimes part of the way he stands back from a crime scene and looks for evidence, but sometimes he just does it anywhere he is. I'm surprised each time that when he looks at a child (victim, suspect, etc.) they don't scream and run away! ![]()

i enjoy the other new shows shark, and smith as well i like how shark covers the courtroom point of view to forensics, and just how fragile a criminal case really is.............it is hard enough to find the evidence needed to prove guilt, and it is even harder to convict and i like how smith plays the villans as the heroes of the show, it has an oceans 11 feel to it. and it is intresting to see how long they can keep getting away with their crimes as for jericho, i also love the story thus far. i hope that it stays on the air for a reason, because the thought of a terrorist attack (it thats what happened) that spans across the entire nation is an intresting story............and the action in it keeps you on the edge of your seat, even untill the next week finally csi: i told you that the episode was a good one, and you do not find out who the killers are for quite a while <---- HINT (but i will not ruin it for everyone by spoiling it) next weeks episode brings back a 4 case style as seen in 4X4 and Viva las vegas, which is also a good episode ( all 7 episodes so far this season have an excellent story, with the exception of the opener)

i think horatio is too cocky, he needs to be taken down a peg or two...........but i do not think i can see anyone else playing his part, he fills the shoes of horatio caine quite well and i am happy that the show has brought back some of its old gloss...........i think it was the curse of the beard when sara said that malibu barbie did it, i almost fell on the floor............and gil and Dr. Robbins singing was funny as well

Lol- I am glad that CSI:LV seems to be returning to what it was before they decided to severely injure or traumatize their investigators- though with Catherine witnessing Sam getting shot and something bad happening to poor innocent Greg in an upcoming episode, I'm worried that they will be reverting back again. As for Horatio on Miami- Horatio is David Caruso in many ways, and is also John Kelly [NYPD Blue] by default as well. Half the time I'm scratching my head thinking, didn't he do/say that exact same thing on the other show?? ![]()

Years ago, there was a show entitled "Unsub" which was the forerunner of Criminal Minds. It, too , was cut down in its childhood! DZ, Jericho takes place after the U.S. has had a thirld world war. The people are frightened for their lives!...
