stuck in case 7 prints and pauper- need to get thug hangout

I've read the walkthough for case 7 and still can't get past it. In the walkthrough it mentions implants in the victim's chest which I can't find even after restarting the case. The only thing I find near his chest is the bruise on his shoulder. I clicked all over his upper body but got nothing, I even tried checking him from the side.
It also mentions a scene of the body being dumped in the asylum which won't come up even after I find all the evidence listed in the walkthrough.
When I ask Warrick for a hint he tells me we need to inspect the asylum further.
Lastly, the walkthrough says something about Brass telling you about a thugs hangout. I never get this dialog option, nor does any hangout come up as a location.
I'm guessing all these problems are related, but what am I doing wrong.

The "implants" are reffering to the organ donation [transplants] scars on his body- Doc Robbins points them out to you when he is talking about the body. You should be able to see the scars [though not really remarkable] by clicking on his chest [cursor should change colour].

The asylum should be given to you by Brass after you have found all the evidence on the body.

The Morgue steps are:

1) zoom in on stomach. [see Gross reverse peristalsis video]. If Doc didn’t give you the victim’s DNA sample, swab the stomach.

2) zoom in on chest, Doc will tell you about organ transplants.

3) zoom in on the left shoulder. [see the bruise]

4) zoom in on left hand. Hmm… missing a ring are we?

5) zoom in on the jeans on the table. Swab the yellow stain that is probably vomit.

Go to the LAB and give Greg the victim’s DNA and the vomit sample.
COMPUTER- search and compare the DNAs. Then head over to Brass for the asylum address.

Once you get all the evidence from the asylum and analyzed it, Brass will give you the next location, etc.

OK, I can't zoom in on the chest. I can see what looks like a scar from the examine body position but it won't highlight on my cursor and it doesn't do anything when I click on it. I've gone over his entire upper torso and the only thing that highlights is his shoulder bruise and stomach. Nothing else will come up, I've clicked every inch between his head and stomach nothing happens.
Also, Doc never mentions transplants when talking about the body.

I have noticed a few A/V bugs throughout the game but if anything they they made evidence stick out like a sore thumb against the backdrop. Could my problems with not being able to zoom in on his chest be a bug. If so does anyone know a way to fix it.

I don't think there has been any report of a/v bugs in the XBOX version- maybe it's the audio settings on your TV? I don't have an XBOX myself, so can't really help you in that department.

As for the chest, you don't really look that close at them- just one click [zoom] in. Doc talks about it very fast, so it's easy to miss.

Have you done the other steps?
What evidence do you have in your evidence bar as of now? listing what you have might help me guess what you are missing.

When I reach the point that I can go no farther I have the...
BLOWFLY LARVA, SERIAL NUMBER IMPRESSION, SNAGGED CLOTH FRAGMENT, DISCARDED FOOD, ASSEMBLED BOTTLE FRAGMENTS (from the two pieces found in the asylum), VICTIM'S DNA, PANTS STAIN, LIQUID SAMPLE, SPRAYPAINT SAMPLE, MUDDY FOOTPRINT, DUSTY FOOTPRINT, FINGERPRINT (from wheelchair), PARTIAL FINGERPRINT (from the two bottle pieces), POWDERY SUBSTANCE, MARKUS DNA, MARKUS FINGERPRINTS, TRUFFLE ASPARAGUS RECEIPT, TRUFFLE EGGPLANT RECEIPT, TRUFFLE BAKED ALASKA RECEIPT, CREDIT CARD SLIP.
I've gone through all the available dialog with Doc, Brass, Markus, and the Thomas woman. I've shown Greg all the evidence I've collected, ran and compared every print and DNA sample, and I've interogated Markus.
The reconstructions shown are the Ulcer Forming, Poison Entering the Blood Stream, and the Food in the Dumpster Being Poisoned.

I'm thankful for any help.

You appear to be missing the Thug related evidence from the pawn shop and from the thug hangout. Brass should give you the address to the thug hangout after the spray paint sample has been looked at by Greg [and Warrick recognizes the graphiti style].

At the thug hangout you should find a cigarette butt on the pool table, a pad of paper and a spray can wtih a partial on it. [something has to be done with the partial print ]

Once you get the thug stuff, another location [pawn shop] should be available. There you will eventually be able to question the thug and get a few other important pieces of evidence that will need to be compared to other things. I'm trying not to ruin too much for you

Hope that helps!

PS: there is also something in the dumpster you might have missed that is vital to the case- there is some trace evidence on it too. Be sure to get it

Warrick never mentions the graffiti style nor does Brass mention a thug hangout. I've collected the sample and given it to Greg, he says something to the effect of it being spraypaint, but thats about all he can tell you.

Warrick mentions the bit about the graphiti very quickly- you might have just missed him mentioning it. Have you seen the body dump recreation video? You should have seen it when you when closer to the wheelchair the first time.

Make sure you have searched all the footprints and DNA samples you have in the computer.

You are missing something that gives you the thug hangout. Try looking at the graphiti again and then going to Brass.

No, the body dump recreation never comes up. I've checked in the screen that has all the recreations on it and it isn't there either.
I've restarted the case several times over and the same thing happens every time. I even tried redoing the previous case, no change.

You are missing a step in asylum then- though from your list it looks like you have everything. Did you look at all the spots you were supposed to on the victim's body in the morgue?

There is a step by step walkthrough of the asylum part in the Case Help section for Prints in Pauper http://www.csigame.net/forums/showthread.php?t=821. Everything in it should be the same in XBOX and PC version.
