need help with case 3 for xbox box version- getting 100%

i have tried every kind of walkthrough for this game xbox and pc. i collected every piece of evidence asked all the questions then i go to greg and give him all the items and run the prints nick says no big surpise that the gun is gravey's then i run the id then nick says we should go to the crime scence again so go pick up the gun and take it to greg and all he says is its the murder weapon also side note i even tried checking hint ?'s with nick once i pick up gun the question is how can we find websie owner. so how can i get the web chat?

Greg hears about the chatting about the murder on the internet and helps you get the address. He will give it to you when you have found all the evidence at the crime scene. Double check to make sure you have it all, or post what you have found so far- it's easier for us to figure out what you are missing that way.

i collected the red fiber with tweezers collected tire iron swad the blood on the ground click body then wounds then made the head cast dusted the gun the picked up with gloves then sprayed driver seat and swaded picked up id the the notepad then i go to al ask all the questions possible then i go to lab hand everything to greg the head cast tire iron 2 bullets pad of paper id fiber and officar's gun including both blood stains even though on the 2nd stain he says nothing more i can tell you about that put the prints to greg run them run the id nick says we should check crime scene so i go and pick up the gun hand it to greg and all he says is that its the murder weapon.

Asked Doc Robbins in the morgue all the questions and examined the body?
Examined the red thread under the lab microscope?

After you have looked at all the evidence in the lab, the web chat option should be avaliable in the computer. I think most of your evidence should be red tagged (it means that you have finished analyzing it) except for the red thread.

Things other players have missed is getting a mikrosil cast of the wound on the body and scanning in the ID into the computer.

yes i have asked doc all the questions and yes i have examined the body and took the head cast at crime scene.and checked red thread under microscope. and ran the id and prints and gave greg every bit of evidence.


this may be a stupid question but can you give me examples of red tagging evidence please.

i'm having trouble tagging

tire iron: this is what i do zoom in and pick up red fiber zoom out pick up tire iron i even do the evidence look hand it to greg then take alook again all it says is that garvey's blood was found on it. and that is what greg says when i hand it to him

finger prints: i dust them take a look hand them to greg(computer) run them nick says no surprise that they are garveys. i look at it again and it says that its garvey's.

one of the blood stains: after giving greg the first stain and says its pig blood the 2nd he says nothin more i can tell you about that.

so what if anything am i missing or doing wrong to get full tag?

When you give the evidence to Greg, he puts a small tag on it. At first the evidence will appear with a grey tag- that means the evidence has not been analyzed. If you have analyzed everything to do with it, the tag will have a red dot on it. If there is something left to do with the evidence, the tag will have a yellow dot on it. [Of course if a piece of evidence does not have a tag on it, it means you haven't given it to Greg yet ] The tag looks like a regular price tag a piece of clothing at a store would have.

Make sure that all your evidence has the small tag on it. If you have any evidence that is grey or yellow tagged, that means that there is something left to do with it [in the lab, or finding a match for it in terms of DNA, etc.] Does that help?

.it does but i don't know what else i can do to make these items fully tagged here is what items i'm having a trouble with and i already did and its not fully tagged.

tire iron: at crime scene i click on it zoom in use magnifier for thread then pick up thread then zoom out then pick up tire iron. once at lad i hand greg the iron and all he says is something like this traces of blood that are graveys and thats it like i said in my last post i tried going to the examine evidence screen but still nothing.

fringer prints: i dust gun pick up gun at lab i go give greg the prints which sends to computer run them and still not tagged

blood stain: all greg says after you give him one stain saying its pigs blood is nothing else that i can do with that and that it.

Have you searched the items in the computer? Once you have searched the fingerprints, they should get tagged red if they were matched to someone's prints.

Here's what you should have done so far:

At the crime scene....

click tire iron
use mag. scope on small red fiber
collect fiber with tweezers - back out of close up - collect tire iron with gloves
click blood pool - take sample with swab
click body
examine chest wounds
examine head wound - take cast with mikrosil
click gun - dust for prints - collect with gloves
click car
click stain on seat - use lumonal - collect with swab
click id card - collect with gloves
click notepad - collect top page with gloves

go to morgue...
ask
what was the actual cause of death
what did you discover about the gunshot wounds- get bullets (automaticly)
what was the time of death
what caused the head trama
does the tire iron match the head wound

go to lab...
give tire iron, officers gun, bullets
give red fiber, blood (ground), blood (car), cast of head wound
give id card, notepad sheet

go to computer (click search compare)
run gun prints
run fake id

go to crime scene...
click on gun- collect with gloves

go to lab...
gave magnum (before you go to computer)

go to computer (click web chat)...
ask where did aliboy go OR what is all the excitement about (they both yeild the same answer)

i have done all of that to the letter my problem is that i can not seem to tag fully the tire iron 2nd blood stain finger print even when i scan the print and nick say no big surpise that its garveys. what else can i do with these items?
