dont know what to do- Case 1

i just bought this game(xbox version) and im on the first case and im stuck i have all of the evidence from the crime scene and done all the tests and there is nothing more i havent been able to go to the friends apartment as i dont know how, when can i do this? the manager gives me the thing with the address on it but i cant see or find it.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest you list here the evidence you have collected, as I suspect you are missing something, but can't say what it is without knowing what you have.

The friend's apartment is available after you have found the ring and looked at the inscription. The Ring is in the motel room behind Grissom on the floor. Brass will find the address for you.

i have the blood stain the two fingerprints the thing with the initials the hair, the money and thats it if ive missed anything let me know.

Make sure you have UV the victim's neck and picked up the ligature [cloth that you found the hair on].

With the card you got from the hotel owner, double action button it so you can look at it closer. It will be in the middle evidence tab I believe [unless the XBOX version has them switched around- there are three evidence tabs: 1. trace elements [dna, swabs, hairs, fingerprints, etc.], 2. paper and data evidence, and 3. larger pieces of evidence [such as the ligature, ring/bracelets, weapons, etc.] ]. You may need to go to talk to Brass to find the apartment address in the XBOX version, I'm not sure.

thanks for the tips i have uv the vics neck but i dont think i have picked up the bandage with the hair on it shall go back and do it again i just cant seem to find the card in the evidence bar, thanks for the help

The check-in card should have been given to you by the hotel manager and should be in the middle area of the evidence bar. When you find the bar, you need to press the Y button to go there.

Your evidence bar at the bottom of the screen should have 3 "folder tabs" on it at the top of the bar that you can click through. If there is nothing there, try talking to the manager again?
