Case 8 (Dark Motives Case 4) - Miss Direction- wound mould on XBOX

I don't know if the x on the stage is important in the XBOX version [the PC and XBOX versions are a little different with the minorish details], but the mold of the wound is very important and is probably what is stopping you from progressing in the case.

Make sure you are using the mikrosil on the lower-more-in-the-middle wound, not the "fake one" on her shoulder. Get as close as you can to it [one zoom in] and be very patient- it needs to be done on just the right spot. Many other players have gone bonkers getting it, so don't feel alone! The good thing is, they did eventually get it, so it is possible

Okay, thanks for the help. I will try again tomorrow. The wound mold is really whats blocking me at this point!
Since the X on stage doesnt turn green at all maybe its just not a part of the Xbox version as you said.

Will give a try tomorrow and let you all know if it worked!

So, the walkthrough says that I am to talk to the husband...well, he's nowhere!?!? And my only locations, aside from lab, brass and morgue, are the theatre/theater and the prop room. I also can't get a casting of the bullet wound. I have tried and tried and tried, and nothing. If anyone has any ideas, thoughts, opinions, advice...answers!!! lol I would greatly appreciate the help.

Make sure you visit Brass- he should be able to get you more locations if you have found enough evidence. Husband is also at theatre for awhile- the theatre is the 3D pananoramic area. Husband should be on the right side of the orchestra pit by the front seats.

You do need the mould of the wound- this might be what you are missing- make sure you are using the toothpaste tube like tool [mikrosil] and that you are trying to case the lower more centered wound. You should be able to get a little bit closer to the wound [at least one click] Be patient and calm when trying to get the mould- it's very finicky, especially in the XBOX edition.

Once you get the mould, the next step will entail trajectory tests which will allow you to get more evidence and therefore locations.

Make sure you also talk to all the people you can as often as you can- sometimes new questions pop up.

I don't know how this happened, but I managed to get around that making the mold thing. After clicking on everything, it just let me continue. Maybe I found a workaround???

I suspect that you did get the mould thing- you have to in order to do the trajectory tests!

I am playing the xbox version of CSI I am stuck on Miss Direction, I have followed the walk throughs to a tee. I am trying to make a mold of the wound, second one chest area, AND IT WILL NOT LET ME! I Have tried clicking everywhere!! Does anyone know what I can do????

The XBOX wound moulding is finicky, so the only thing we can suggest is to continue to be patient. Make sure you are trying to take the mould of the lower more centered wound on her body.

Nick should also have suggested that you take a mould of the wound- if you forgot a step somewhere [evidence], the game will not let you.
