TDOM Screen Shots Talk thread

Comments on the screenshots seem to get lost in the General Talk thread, so I thought maybe our rambling [and sometimes hotly contested] thoughts and discussions deserved it's own thread.

The Screenshots are in this thread:

well the detail is excellent, it appears to have more detail than the other games did

and i hope that we can take advantage of the 3D aspect of the game by having full x and y axis controls for every scene

because a static panoramic view is a waste of 3D
to take advantage of it you need to be able to pan and move the camera around to see multiple angles of the scenes and evidence

and the only characters that look weird are grissom and nick, everyone else is rendered very well

Warrick is slightly squashied a bit too, but is closer than Nick and Grissom is- Catherine and Sara are the closest; I wonder if the artists most probably being guys had to do with that

I would also love some more pan shots as well- Dark Motives was a big tease in that some crime scene areas were full, while others were not even though something in the corners looked suspicious, but nothing was there. However, they might be thinking of computer memory when they limit the number of full "rooms" in the game. Speaking of which, I think I'll need to upgrade my memory before I get the game...

Awesome. thanks for posting the screen shots.

I have to agree with you though on some of them they do look slightly odd but that could just be the picture.
