at the moment i am getting on the internet via the checkout computer downstairs i had all of my csi la feild notes on my upstairs computer (the one that crashed) i opened the computer earlier today and there are singe marks all over the inside of the case, this leads me to believe that the computer was indeed hit by a power surge from outside i am going to make a new computer and not connect it to the internet (from now on i am only getting online via the downsatirs computer) i am going to have to rewrite the csi la stories at a later date currently i am trying to get my new computer done before the 7th and when i get it my priority is going to be writing the walkthroughs so i am putting csi la on the back burner for a few weeks |

i have a surge protector, but i only had my ps2, xbox360, modem, printer, computer display, and surround sound hooked into it, there was no room left for the computer tower in the power brick everything was saved except for the one thing that i did not have hooked into it, my computer tower (i have everything hooked into one display and it is (was ) a pretty nice setup)and i am astounded that only the harddrive got fried out of the whole computer and this is the excuse i needed to do something about my computer (i try to upgrade the computer once every 6 months) and it has been 4 months since i have done anything to it and it is about time that i just started from scratch (because the motherboard in the computer is almost 2 years old) i think i am going to give it its own seperate monitor this time (and not have my cable and all my game systems hooked into the same monitor as my computer) and hook it up in my office, and i am getting a surge protector for it i am going to run a 3 computer setup the checkout computer in the basement store the new computer i am going to make (and i am not going to hook it up to the internet or my in-home network) and the old computer (the one that crashed) i am going to fix my old computer and i am going to run it into the ground untill it crashes for good |

What's going to happen to the other three "working" computers? Also, which one of the remaining will be hooked up to the internet(we need you at CSI Gamer .com , dude!)? At my place, the only devices that are hooked in the surge protector are a) 15-12 volts , 100 mA thingy for my phone(I've a 900 MHz , model 9370 cellphone from AT&T(don't know all its secrets as of yet...am a bit old-fashioned),the power and monitor cords to my computer, the cable to my printer(a Lexmark Z600)and a a black rectangular box dealing with my speakers(I believe its their power source)My lamp, at the present moment , is connected to an extension cord which is , at this moment, plugged in to an outlet in my roommates side of the room. (We're working on the CSI puzzle game "Stabbing Pain") Running a 'pute into the ground until it crashes for good is most definitely not a good idea. Use your head, guy! |

at the current moment i am using my downstairs computer to get on the internet i am going to fix my old computer and run it into the ground and i am getting a new computer and not hooking it up to the internet i will have the 2 old computers hooked up to the internet (checkout and old computer), so i will still be here i know what i am going to use to make my new computer i am going to start with THIS COMPUTER and make some upgrades to it but, half of the cost of the computer is the monitor when i am done the computer will not be recognizable, i am going to crazy on its candy ass i am going to stop 1 step short of making another "beast" for those of you who do not know, "the beast" was a computer i made in 2003, i installed 7 inline pentium 3 processors to make a long story short, it caught on fire and burned a 5 foot hole through the floor in my old house instead of patching the hole, we made it bigger and installed a jacuzzi those were the days |
