Already answered your question in the tech help forum- the CSI games are too big to buy via download. Only part of one case is in the demo, and that can take a long time to download itself. You can however, buy the game online [via sites like Amazon, best buy, etc.]. Since it's a big game, one would probably want a hard copy (CD format) of it anyway just in case it got corrupted and needed to be installed again. Can't imagine downloading a huge game more than once!

Unhappy Loss of sound and action

Kay,
Speaking of games becoming corrupted, my TDoM did exactly that. Arggh! And it was almost completely downloaded too! Not to mention the fact that I lost the voice files from the Miami game as well as from both previous LV games! I sent letters of inquiry to Ubisoft but have I heard word one from them ?? No! Might as well write them off.

Any tech help with the Miami and LV games [besides TDOM] from Ubisoft is probably not coming by this point- the games are too "old" by today's gaming standards, even though you can still buy them in stores.

Poseidon- I would suggest you do a spyware check and virus scan of your computer just in case you have gotten some virus/trojan that is messing up with your files- I don't see how all the games would get corrupted [unless you've been doing some computer/crack-hacking we don't know about !] unless some viral action is happening!

The TDOM demo is a large file to download- if you don't have very fast internet connection, it is easy for it to "hiccup" and not download properly [hence your computer declares it corrupted].

Kay,
The first time I installed CSI:TDoM, I had no problems with it. Now , all of a sudden, it stops short of a full installation by about 15-20%. However, I did receive answers to two of my letters yesterday and am waiting on the third. So , there is hope.

Have you fully uninstalled the original installation? Sometimes when a program is reinstalling, it notices that the older files are there and stops.

Guess that I must do, huh? Although I don't understand why I lost my sound files to cases 5, in the Miami game and 2, in CSI;dm.
