(Game Talk - chapter three) the missing cases removed from the games

the first time you do a case it takes about an hour and a half maybe 2 hours
but once you know what to do you can do it in 10 minutes
(if you skip all the dialoge by right clicking)

but some people like to take their time and may take a few hours to complete a case

a good way to judge the length of a case is how many locations you visit, how many peices of evidence you get, and how long the dialog is

most of the time the length of cases gets longer as the game moves on

Well, I know that Max Allen Collins has been the head writer for the games since the beginning. But there is also an Art Department. And, as I recall, the first case *never* took two hours; always one hour. The others were thirty minutes each.

yeah max comes up with 8 cases and sends them to the art department
the art department comes up with the story boards
(the drawings you see in the bonus section )
then each team creates a level
then in the end the ones that got completed (usually 6 or 7 of them)
set dorted and they pick the best 5 for the final cut of the game

and evrybody is diffrent it always took me an hour per case

well with a franchise as big as csi
the writers would have to be the worlds best
same with the actors and staff

personally i like the way they film the show
i took a few film classes a few years back when i was still in school and i know from experience how hard some of the shots they have on those shows are
espically the 3d computer graphic work con some of the snap zooms and on the csi shots

i feel bad though making random posts such as this i always try to put some peice of info in each post i write

anyway a case i want to see is one where boby dawson testfires a gun from the evidence vault and finds that a gun sitting in lockup for 3+ years has a body on it

because they take guns from police raids when they get guns for the examplar collection

P.S. the number of posts to get out of new csi gamer is 100 right?

Congrats to dangerzone for being ultra close to getting promoted to the next ranking- as you can see it's not exactly 100 posts that gets you promoted- I think it's around 105-110 or so. In either case, something tells me you'll get promoted by tomorrow.... I'm logging out for now, and can only speculate on how long the threads will be when I get back

ans something needs to be done with the rating system on this site
102 posts to get out of a rank is nuts

you should have it like this
1 - 20 posts = new csi gamer
20 - 50 posts = csi rookie
50 - 80 posts = csi gamer
80 - 110 = csi veteran
110 - 200 = detective
200 - 300 = lieutenant
300 + = moderator

if you set it up like this you will have diffrent people in diffrent ranks rather than everyone in the same rank

and most people only make 1 or 2 posts on here than drop off the face of the earth

so it is easy for someone if they want to get out of the first rank
but still hard for those who want to be on the highest rank avalable

I'm in favor of modifying the ranking system.However, that would make you a CSI Veteran.

yeah but in 5 posts i would be a detective

although it kind of fun to be the only person on here with my current rank

however would still be in a unique rank even if you changer the ranking system
