So when's the next one coming out? Personally I love these games. Shooter games are fine if you need a quick release of some homicidal stress, but to have a game that tests your mind is really cool. I'm always in the market for more.

Telltale games would love the opportunity to do another CSI game and improve on the last one. Unfortunately I can't say any more about the possibliity of future titles...

Greg,
Check out the forum entitled "Do you want the new game to be in CD or DVD?" That was where the Xbox argument began.

It sounds to me like DZ's source was giving misinformation. I'm sure the Xbox 360 was at least considered by Ubisoft at some point, and there may have been a number of ideas for "how" to make that happen. But there were no cases cut for this game, and as far as I know there was not a final deal to make an Xbox 360 game with extra cases. So rest assured that what you bought is the full deal and we put everything we had into the cases you played. No waste!

Hardly misinformation, Greg. Just given on the installment plan.

my sources have proved to be reliable in the past..........although no one has a 100% reputation

i have a friend in the marketing department of ubisoft ( she is the one who sent me early copies of the games marketing artwork and screenshots) and she indicated that some of the project was being held back to accomidate a future xbox360 version of the game

but since i have not heard anything of a x360 version since...........she may have been misled by something/someone

and since greg cannot say anything about future titles...............i will, telltale games is on the bubble so to speak, ubisoft is considering a couple of other companies to see if they are capable of making a batter game then telltale did............but as of this moment talltale still has the rights to the csi franchise

and since the telltale game sold a lot better then its predecessors did...........it is very likely that the new csi game that telltale is working on now will be the next game on the shelves

and i can say that if telltale wants to hold the rights far into the future, they will need to fix the key gripe that most players had with the last game.............GRAPHICS, the game for being made in 2005 had some of the worst graphic detail i have ever seen in a recent game. the only good thing the game had going for it in the graphic department were the shaders and even they were ho hum

on that note i think telltale should scrap their efforts to make the games as small and and computer friendly as they can and opt for a dvd format and put as much polygonal and texture detail as they can into this next game

but the fact the game was extremely immersive, the longer cases, the freebased camers setup, and the mild replay value of the game is what telltale in the playing feild

DZ,
Do you remember the sub- forum entitled "Do you want the new game to be CD or DVD?" That's where this whole colloquy concerning Xbox versus cd/dvds started, if you recall! As for the next game being in DVD format, I have no qualms about it.

BTW, would you know Cyril W. Wecht? He's a pathologist from your area.

looking back at the old topics...........i can see how things got a bit out of hand

and yes i know Dr. Wecht, but not professionally..........we met at a banquet last month (celebrating his promotion) but i would be suprised if i exchanged more than a dozen words with him

and the next game is not due untill E1 (roughly the same time of year this game was released, maybe a bit earlier)............so lets not hold our breath waiting for the next game
