Hey - I would love to hear feedback from players, while the game is fresh in your minds. (Rather than waiting for a Consumer Survey Report from Ubisoft) The most important question: What is your favorite moment of this game? Where was it MOST satisfying to you, and why? Your repsonse is much appreciated! -greg (Designer of CSI:3DOM)

Greg, The ideal would be for us to work with multiple CSI members. Any idea when that might happen? However, I liked the factor of the unexpected. Also, the games were just a notch or two harder to play than those of Dark Motives. Would it be possible to make them a lot more challenging? And a related issue: what happened to the remaining cases? Will they be put in a later game, will they be downloaded from the Telltale Site later on or were they cut for good and never to see light of day?

I really enjoyed the game but I have to ask a question did you mean for Ackerman to have a bump on his forhead in the last case and not in the first or was this just an ooops that happened and went unnoticed? I recently played the game again and noticed it this time when I hadn't the first time around and it made me wonder how exactly it got there to begin with. Kem

Hey gang - Kemmccauley - kudos to you for playing thru twice! Really glad you enjoyed it. Yes, Ackerman was supposed to have a bump in Case 5, not the first time. It was a way to show his deterioration from the beginning of the game to the end - that was one of the ways we helped to show that even though he's shady to begin with, his life had taken a turn for the worse. Poseidon - thank you for the suggestions and comments. What areas in particular would you like to see be more challenging? We do provide the difficulty settings which allow players to play how they want - if they don't want too many assists, etc. Also, what are the remaining cases are you referring to? Our plan for the game had been five cases from the start, and we wanted to make them longer and more detailed than the first case. So the good news is we never cut any cases. Thanks all! -greg-

Dangerzone mentioned some time ago that , in one of the several preliminary announcements to the game , there were to be nine cases all told. I s this true or not? Also, I think the next stage in the game is where we should get to work with Grissom and Company as a group. The character of Sara in the present game doesn't have that California "lilt" to her voice. Also , her actions are a trifle too mechanical in certain situations. And Nick, well, I know he's strong, but the way he's portrayed is more like a cop than a CSI. His physique in the previous two games are more realistic. By the way, check out our forum on Game Innovation Ideas.

Thanks for the suggestions, Poseidon. Good ideas. And thanks for the heads up about the forum. We had planned 5 cases from the beginning of the project, and none of the official announcements stated we would have 9 cases. So not sure what happened there.

Were more cases planned for the Xbox version than that of the cd/dvd?or was it just a bunch of hype? Also, in the last case, there are two pieces of evidence with which I seem not to able to do anything: the car keys and the print found at the back of the car.

Just finished DOM Ok, so I just finished Dimensions of Murder and it was a good game. I liked the 3D evidence thing and having to work it yourself, although the whole "The area is clean" bit when looking for evidence was a bit bothersome. Some of the scenes really screamed bad animation, but I can look past that. And that constant loading between scene switching! They can really try to work past that in the next game. (if there's going to be another) I just feel that it was actually a bit too easy. Or maybe I'm just getting way smarter. I don't know. I felt that Dark Motives was a much harder game to get through. Granted, they did make the last case harder, because of the picture matching thing and some other elements. I think that if Telltale Games were to make another installment it would probably be better. Better graphics and better cases. Still, it was a good game and I'm glad I got it.

Hey - Genesistt - I'm really glad you enjoyed the game, overall. Thanks for the feedback too. I think you're right - the "easy" factor is a combination of the 2 things you mentinoed - 1) players are used to the other games in the franchise, and 2) some design goals we had to reduce the frustration of those games. We added some gameplay options to allow players to play at the level of challeng they were comfortable with. (The default mode with "tool assist" on is pretty darn easy, but I actually prefer to play with it on.) Turning off some of those settings makes the game more challenging in certain ways. But ultimately, it was important for us that players have a fun experience getting through the stories, without causing them to get stuck and frustrated. Poseidon - As far as I know, there isn't an Xbox version for CSI 3DOM. From the start, we'd only planned 5 cases. As for the evidence in case 5, the keys were thrown there by the driver when they left the car. And the print on the tailgate was supposed to be Melvoy's but it's a glitch that it's not working. So there is nothing more to do with the keys or the fingerprint - they were loose ends that weren't tied up quite fully. Good sleuthing! -g
