Can't find shoeprint! Please help!

I need help! I cannot find that shoeprint anywhere on the beach. I have tried magnifying the entire beach area and using the plaster tool, also. Neither tool has the orange outline around it letting you know it can be used. I have restarted this case three times now, in case there was some type of glich, with no success. Just for your info, I have talked to Hugo, collected the sunscreen and the 2 prints on it, collected the paper and the torn pieces, done lab work on all of the above. I have also went into the beach house, examined the octopus and fish, got the fingerprint off on the tank, requestioned Hugo, and picked up the dead fish. Hugo has not left his spot at the beach, and from other threads I have read, others have mentioned the "spot where Hugo used to be". I cannot go any further in the game because Alexx won't pick up the body. I assuming that she won't until I get the shoeprint. Please help!

shoeprint is locate behind the chair near the rocks

Have you questioned hugo?
If so he will go inside the beach house when you have finished with him.
You must pick up the dog also.
You do not need the shoe print to finish the game and get a masters ranking.

you need to do it from the big view ( not close up on the chair ) click on the dark spot around the rocks that is to the right of the chair

the shoe print is on the beach sort of behind the chair towrds the right! hope it helped -->> lindsey

I disagree with you. Every bit of evidence is important no matter how inconsequential it may seem.Evidence does not always make itself known at the time of gathering and the footprint is an important piece of evidence as it helps establish the identity of the suspects and possibly the killer! Also , don't
forget to collect and dust the sun blocker container for prints...twice...Don't forget to take both the glass on the small table and the pad beside it. Also, and this is important, don't forget to take the torn score card. I t will not be evident at first but, later on, it will be clear that this is the daughter-in-law's motive. You will have to piece it together on the assembly table in the lab, behind Valera.

Wrong assumption! Alexx won't collect the body until all the evidence has been taken in and analyzed. After Hugo goes to the beachhouse , then you can revisit the beach and look to the right of Hugo, between those rocks, for the footprint.
