Case 3 footprint

Hi! I am on Case three with the hate boat and I think I am supposed to find a footprint or something on the dock but I can't. Can you tell me if I am looking for the right thing and where it is on the dock?

Yes, you are looking for the right thing and it is located several steps away diagonally from where the singer's husband cut himself when he was gutting a fish. It's mixed with seagull droppings so use the adhesive tape to retrieve it.

I think I know where it is now but i still can't pick the footprint up with the tape. Should an arrow light up when you go over it or something?
