| I already posted a far too wordy critique of why Dark Motives is my favourite elsewere, but to summarise: The cases are the toughest to solve (look at the number of help threads in the DM forum compared to the others) and not repetitive, in one case there is no murder and in two of the others it takes a while to even find out who the victim is. The actors graphical representations are spot on, easily the most accurate in the whole series, although I realise this won't matter to a lot of people. NO PRODUCT PLACEMENT (I can't tell you how much this annoys me in the last two games) Brass is given something more to do than just OK warrants and has his best cheesy puns/comments of the series I understand if you bought the game when it first came out and it was buggy as heck then you probably thought it was terrible, but once it was patched it became far and away the best in my opinion. |
