we finally have a .com address now i can get on anytime i want....if i still had verizon i now have comcast and i can get to .net addresses anytime i want i love irony P.S. its funny how everything i suggest gets done its awesome to make administrative changes without being an administrator or a moderator for that matter.....lol but funny quotes aside, all the changes i pointed out were necessary for the flood of new gamers this new game will pull into this site my next set of ideas for this site........ to put game news on the homepage such as the screenshots i posted and things like the offical website url when it goes online like weekly updates, that sort of thing also put the links for the 3 other games official websites and the links to the patches on the homepage as well i have a lot of ideas to make this site better but lets take it one step at a time anyway the forum part of this site is excellent, good setup and organization the only idea i have for the forum part of the site is to make a custom skin for it and loose the stock phpbb skin maybe a green and blue skin to go with the csi colors it short, we need to pimp this ride <----- i had to say that and one last little thing we need IS A SITE LOGO on that note i am going to start a new thread for ideas for a site logo be on the lookout for it and pitch some ideas out so we can see of we can come up with a cool logo here is the one i did  Last edited by Dangerzone; February 11th, 2006 at 03:18 PM.  |

Shocker, is it possible to enable spolier tags on the forum to hide things you write and have a button to click to reveal the writing this may come in usefull for the new game as well because some may be ahead of others and not want to ruin the fun of the game and i personally like to hide spoliers in spoilers, to give subtle hints first and have them get more blatent and have the last one be downright instruction on how to do something so each line would have another spoiler button to reveal the next line example someone says i have _______ what do i do now my responce would be your missing something ------------ something at the crime scene ------------ in the living room ------------ under the couch ------------ its a screw ------------ the screw is from a knife ------------ the knife found next to the body is not missing any screws ------------ the knife next to the body was not the murder weapon, it was another knife dipped in the vic's blood ------------ each line would have another spoiler button to reveal the next line see how helpfull that is you can give subtle hints to those who want them, and gave extreme spoilers to those who want them or anyone who is just hopelessly stuck --------- EDIT: now that the spoilers are on you can wee what i am talking about click the button below Last edited by Dangerzone; February 13th, 2006 at 11:28 AM. |

I agree with you, Dangerzone- usually when I respond to help threads I try not to give away too much information the first time, ie. I might just point out an area of interest, but not what exactly is there. I also try to only answer the question they are asking so I don't jump to far ahead of them and spoil the rest of the case. I also like the roleplay/story writing idea you had Poseidon- why don't you start one- maybe in the TV show forum for now... if it proves popular, maybe we can give it's own forum area [along with discussion about the books or something]. wow.......i have my own section of the forum it makes me realize how much i am on this site i get on while i am at work, when i have nothing else to do managing a store and five employees does not take as much time as one would think 80% of my time i spend sitting around the other 20% i spend on the books, inventory rosters, helping customers, yelling at my employees to clean the shop, stocking shelves, and unpacking boxes i will write walkthroughs for all five cases in the new TDOM game and i will provide hints using the system i outlined a few posts ago if shocker enables a spolier system of some kind  as for that forum story i have the entire thing outlined on wordpad on my computer i just copy and paste the answers from that if this first episode goes over well i may deepen the story by making a cast and bios for them i have a mind for creative ideas and stories and writing for csi is not hard for me at all as a matter of fact it is a lot of fun |
