mikrosil bullet wound! i wish i could

i cannot mikrosil the wound.

it says when i try to do it that this isnt the right tool use something else.
so i tried to swab it. the swab collected something, which it lit right up to the green bar was full to show that a full sample had been taken, then nothing happens! it doesnt get put in with my evidende or anything, it just stays on the screen!

so i try the mikrosil again, and it just doesnt work.

evidence i have collected so far

trace
powder residue from gun found on stage
water puddle
meryls blood taken from wound
finger print from box of rounds

evidence
photo

items
squib prop
prop gun
bullet fragment (morgue)
blank round (prop room)
prop rounds (prop room)
shoe

First of all you have to be in the morgue to mikrosil the wound.

Second, you need to click on the 'real' entry wound, not the one that was caused by the special effect

Third you need to click twice on the wound to get the proper close up view to apply the mikrosil

i have done above and its still not letting me.

so i tried the other bullet hole (to be on safe side and it says "this isnt the correct tool")

but it will let me swab it. though nothing happens with the swab when i have done it. i already have a sample of blood from the victim taken from the morgue.??
