Exclamation Random French/Patch Issues

So, I'm sure everybody's heard/read this before... Case #2, the written dialogue is suddenly in French after talking to Doc Robbins.

Now, I tried to download and install the patch for the game, but every time I try, it says that there is no copy of CSI: Dark Motives installed on my system. But there is. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to play the game. I have a very rudimentary understanding of french, and I've been getting along fine without the patch until now, but this is all still extremely frustrating.

Any help?

Also, I'm running Windows Vista on my comp, but I have compatibility for the game set to Windows XP, and it's been running very well otherwise.

Okay, for anyone who's having similar problems, there is a language pack you can download. A lot of you probably already knew that, but it was really difficult for me find. >_<;;

Basically, you have to go to the ubisoft website, click the word 'support' in the upper right hand corner. The first listing says 'Search the Knowledge Base (FAQ)'. Click where it says 'More'. From there, just enter in the Platform in the drop-down menu, then the game in the next drop-down, and then hit search. DON'T TYPE ANYTHING IN. Just hit search. The last topic is where you can download the language pack.

Going to check out if it worked now; don't see why it wouldn't.
