Combining the Partial Prints- lots of tips and instructions!

Where can i find the spray can to get the third partcial?

I just can't seem to be able to combine the fingerprints from the pieces of glass with the partial print from the spray can.
I did combine the pieces of glass and got a partial print of that.
I already restarted it once, but it still ain't working.
Help please!!!!

Bring both partials up into the info box and add the third partial there.

I am having troubles putting the print together to get the rap sheet for the dude at the pawn shop. Any suggestions on how I am supposed to put the prints from the spray can to the prints on the broken glass. I've tried everything I can think of and can't make a solid fingerprint to give to greg in the lab.

ok here is what you do

first you double click one of the 2 partial prints you found in the asylum
this brings up a window with the partail enlarged in it

then you take the other partial from the asylum and drag it into the window
the 2 partials will then combine to form one larger partial print in the window


finally close out the window and double click on the paint can print to bring it up in a window
then drag the assembled asylum partial print to the paint can partial print in the window and they will combine
you will then have a full print


give the print to greg, run it and you will get the persons name
it is the person who is standing in front of the pawn shop

Just echoing what Dangerzone posted- you can combine the paint can partial print with the glass prints in the same way you got the glass prints together- just be sure to use the prints themselves, not the can. Drag the partial print (first evidence tab) onto the combined glass prints (first evidence tab) to combine all the prints together.

When you put the glass prints together in the first place, you could have either put the pieces of glass together [therefore making the prints on them join] or the partial prints together. Most people put the glass pieces together. Sadly can't do the same with the spray paint can- you have to use the partial print itself. ... methinks I should add this spiel to the walkthrough to make it clearer

I'm trying to combine them but it wont let me. I drag one over the other but it wont work. You only need two prints right?

Yes, I have gotten the print off of the can.
