Please please help me! I have the same problem with the fingerprints becoming whole- i have tried a million times to place one partial on top of the other partial to sort it out! Its driving me crazy as i know that is all i really have to do. Does anyone know if this is a bug or problem with the game itself. Thank you! ![]()

Hi! If you have the PC version of the game, putting the prints together is easiest done this way: DOUBLE CLICK on one of the print pieces so it brings up a information window [just as if you were going to look more closely at it]. Then, locate the next piece you want to connect to it- SINGLECLICK on that one and DRAG it onto the the other print into the info window and onto the original print piece, just like you would drag something on your computer desktop into the trash/recycling bin or another folder. They should join and make a new partial print. Repeat with the third partial. You may need to do it a few times to get just the right spot. This is a totally new thing they added to the new CSI games. Once you get the hang of it, you will find other things in other cases much easier. Hope that helps!

ARG I have been fighting with the 3 partial prints for 2 days (thanks Kay that helped doing them all 3 at one time) I had the glass prints but the can partial wouldn't join but finished the game now Prob not right place to post this but I SO wish CSI was out when I was a kid...I would so have a good career now (glad my daughter now is career minded )

You're welcome Akaaabbey! The fingerprints are tricky, especially since it's the first time they expected us to do it [nothing like it in previous case or in the original game] and I guess the they [being the game makers] thought it would come naturally to us! I wish that Case 2 was actually the first case and they had a tutorial with it so that it could explain how to search and manipulate evidence after you picked it up- in the previous game, once you picked it up, you couldn't do anything with it. Oh well! ![]() Best wishes to your daughter in the career she chooses! And ditto on the show- all the new behind the scenes types shows are a lot different from older shows, I think they are helpful for kids and young adults [me included; I'm a new teacher] to really see what jobs are really like. ... now if only we could stop some networks from stupid reality programs that are just rip offs of other shows... ![]()

I can't seem to put the prints together. I understand that it is done the same way as the two glass fragments, but does anyone know where the right spot is for the spray can print? I have tryed clicking on every inch of the print and all around it, but they won't come together, does anyone know why and how I can fix it? It's driving me CRAZY ![]()

I would suggest getting the glass fragment prints [not the glass pieces themselves] in the info window and then dragging the spray can print [not the spray can itself] onto them hopefully that and some patience will work. good luck!

Ok everywhere i go i hear and read that you have to combine the two partial prints. But I need details!!! i have tried dragging the two prints on top of each other in every way possible can someone specificallyexplain how it is that combine. my head hurts ![]()

Hi Once you have the prints revealed [all dusted], bring up ONE piece of glass in an information window. An information window looks like a pop up: it has a picture of the piece of evidence and some details about what you know about the piece of evidence at the top. If you have the PC version, to get the "pop up info window", double click on the piece of glass. Doing this on the print itself will bring up info on the print, but will not help you in the next step... Once you have one piece of glass in the window, drag the second piece of glass onto the piece of glass in the window as if you were going to join up the pieces of glass. With patience and maybe a few tries, you should be able to get it and the two partial prints will now be one less partial print ![]() Hope that helps!
