Combining the Partial Prints- lots of tips and instructions!

i havethe pc verison, i have put the finger print for the glass up and taken the one from the can and tried to fit it all over that first partial and it just wont stay. i know im not doing something that is really simple.

i have another question the yellow tags that r in the corner of the edvince my had a red dot in both of them does that mean anything

For the partials, I don't think you have to get it in a certain spot for it to combine. Have you given both of them to Greg first and then tried to combine them again? I haven't heard of anyone else [besides you and wee monky] who have had it so finicky before.

They will be yellow tagged until you are finished with them [combined and given to Greg and searched and matched in the computer], so them being yellow tagged is not stopping you.

Since you are having so much trouble, I would almost suggest restarting the case over in hopes that it is just some random quirk the game is doing- hopefully just a one time thing. You are about in the half way point of the case, fortunately and unfortunately... I'd hate to start over, but I'm at a loss at what you can do :( Sorry!
