Talking Getting the 4th slide to work- and Leslie to talk... A very helpful thread!!!

Hi,

Many of you might already know this, but it took me forever and loads of people seem stuck, so here's a little tip for you.

At the casino there are TWO sets of tyre treads one on the ramp and (the one that I missed) another on the ground. Only a part of the one on the ground will change your cursor and allow you to look more closely, so follow the whole length of it until your cursor changes - you don't need to collect anything, just look. As soon as I looked at that, I was able to view the fourth slide and ask Leslie the question.

I too had all 29 pieces of evidence and had asked everybody all available questions and was about to smash up my computer in frustration until I tried that. Hope that helps

Good post Lily!

It is a helpful tip for something many people don't know about or forget. I've posted several times on the same item in different threads, but it is sometimes hard for other people to find it.

Do you mind if I sticky this tip so people will be sure to check it out before they damage their computer with their frustrations? It would be really helpful!

Have a wonderful day!

Getting Leslie to talk

I have tried everything to get Leslie to answer the second set of questions. I tried the tire tread thing, re=asked Greg all evidence questions, but am entirely stumped. Can anyone help? She answered the first set, and Brass asks me to bring her back in, but the question will not come up for me to ask her, not even the green arrow.
Thanks
Judy

Hi

you are probably missing something either at Vegas motorcycle or at the crime scene- check to see if Ace, Cory or David have anything else to say.

if you post what you have done [evidence you have found] it would be helpful for people to give you advice!

I have tried everything I can think of

Thanks for your help and ask forgiveness for not being more informative in what I have tried. I loaded and unloaded twice...used the walkthrough step by step, and still Leslie won't talk. McLadden and Cory say they have nothing else for me, Greg says he can do nothing else with EVERY piece of evidence, but I will try again.
Thanks a lot.

No apologies needed! I was just trying to say that it is difficult to guess what you might be missing if I don't know what you have already done!... I don't want to sound like a broken (and annoying) record ... sorry if I hurt your feelings- I didn't mean to!!

I hope you can find out what you are missing- hopefully this weekend I can find some time to write up evidence lists for each DM case and post the lists in the articles section- they might be more useful than scowering the walkthrough articles over and over.

Good luck!

Link to evidence list for this case...

Hey, I found this site while searching for my problem of not being able to get Leslie to confess, here's what I was missing.

Double click the spring, then drag the cut spring section from the trailer onto it.
Give it to Greg.
Use the magnifying glass on the spring where it was cut.
Give it to Greg.
Give Greg the Komawa tool. He will tell you it matches the cut in the spring.
Go to the microscope and look at picture 4. The video will play showing the cut spring.
Now Leslie will confess.
