is the coffee in the trailer bugged? seems to be because i cant collect the finger print off of the cup. everytime i go to collect it with the sticky tape the ding bat chick tells me to use another collection tool. well i have tried all of them and none of them seem to work. so my question is, is that case bugged or what? i think so considering that i have done it 3 times already. someone please tell me what to do to fix this.

You need to use a certain tool to lift the print [not the regular brush or the metal print lifter]. You also need to get it at just the right spot. Be sure to expose all of the print too.

It's a tricky one to get for such a menial print, but keep with it and you'll get it soon!

Don't you just have to expose the whole print. It should go into you trace evidence

The coffee in David's trailer is not bugged! There are two fingerprinting tools available to you:( yes, that's right, you first have to print the cup before comparing it with the print on the crashed cycle and the one on the doorknob.) choose the one that looks like flashlight but isn't. It works on porous surfaces.

Please help me. I have tried so many times to collect the print from the coffee cup and the print on the money envelope that it is driving me potty. I can use the evidence collection ok but when I then use the glove to pick up the object the print stays behind. I have every other bit of evidence except these 2 and without them I cannot finish the first case as I can't interrogate. I have tried the uninstalling the game and the patch but to no avail. I am really upset about this as I was so looking forward to playing but now I just feel like giving up.

In order to collect the print from David's coffee cup , you must use the Magnetic Powder. I t works on wood, polystyrene and painted surfaces.

You can try picking up the evidence and then double clicking on the piece of evidence in the bar to get the pop information window. Then try using the magnetic powder on the evidence there and make sure you expose the whole print as much as possible. Then hopefully the print will appear in your evidence.

I have tried the magentic powder the print from the coffee cup in mgladdens trailer it becomes visible but i can't get it to show up in my evidence file once i dust the cup should the print automatically get entered or do i have to lift the print myself please help thanks

Once you have dusted and revealed the whole print, the fingerprint will be in your evidence. You need to make sure you reveal it all- it will not go into your evidence if you haven't. The coffee cup print seems to give some people problems, but if you are using the magnetic powder [the correct one] just be patient and get the whole print revealed so that it will be entered into evidence.
