| Imprisonment , Deception and Death
With the aid of Hawkins, Jake finds out that the people of New Bern are running a munitions factory for their "self -defense and welfare". They also find a military-like map of Jericho that showed all the farm properties divided up so that New Bern would take the lion's share. Their firebrand sheriff imprisons Jake just as he has imprisoned his elder brother, Eric, and in the convo beteen the two brothers, it is revealed that Heather is dead. Meanwhile, sheriff Constantino is lying to the lynch mob outside that the citizens of Jericho , especially Jake and Eric, have taken what they want and left them to fend for themselves. (Which, of course, is false!)

New Bern and Jericho go to battle...they are outgunned etc, with the loss of Jake's father. "Flashback to six years ago." Jake's brother is getting married and their grandfather is telling them the "nuts" story. Flash forward--Constantino tells Jake to give up but Jake tells him over his walkie-talkie "nuts! and that he can go straight to hell and that he 'll be the one for whom he's coming next. In the meantime, Hawkins is being tracked on the satellite , of which only Jake , his father and , of course, Hawkins have any knowledge . It seems Valente, his former boss, wants the bomb back for evidence purposes...or does he want to cause Armageddon? It's at this point that Jake and Hawkins go their separate ways to fight their separate battles. The ending of this episode is rather uncertain..
