Silly Question about the game- 3 disks?

I've played the whole game and beat it. I'm just a little curious as to why there are 3 disks though? I've loaded them all and they all seem to have the same thing on them, nothing different at all. Is that the way its supposed to be? I know its a silly question but I was hoping someone could give me an answer. Thanks!

For Dark Motives, there are 3 disks for the game. Since I did not do a full install, I found that as I progressed in the game, different "cases" were on different disks- ie. Case 4 and 5 were on the 3rd disk. Therefore, it's probably safe to say the files for the cases are on different disks. If you do a full install, you'll probably only need to put in the first disk to play- if you do a custom or not full install, you'll need to change the disks as you go along.

well i did a full instal currently playing case no 4 and i only need the first disk
