momo,
I don't think you can buy it from CSI Gamer.com but if you go to the CBS site or the GameSpot site it is readily available. As for CSI NY, all that's available now are the puzzle games. The computer games have not yet come out, unfortunately. (They haven't even come out with another CSI Miami game yet.)

I definitely think it's worth it.

I was lucky enough to buy the game TWO days before it went into 50% discount in every store but okay. Sure I would've rather payed 20 euros than 40 euros for it. Nonetheless I only just bought my DS and this is the first game out of the seven I have that I finished, and finished in a few days, because it was addictive.

During the first case I really thought "waste of money". I'd never played a CSI game before, I don't even watch the show (honestly) and I only just got my DS so I didn't know what the hell was going on I didn't know how to approach evidence, how to use the tools, no idea what kind of things I could do at the lab, and logic in terms of victim-suspect-crimescene was just NOT there.

I completed the first case with the walkthrough on my computer screen next to me. Then the second case, I started understanding the "technical" part and only needed a few hints from the walkthrough for some key evidence I had missed.

The last three cases I was on to it and I completed without help. I found the third case a bit short... especially compared to the last one.

It was all worth the money. Once you start understanding the game (maybe a nice tutorial on the actual game about the techniques of recovering evidence would be nice) it is really really worth it. More cases would have been fun, though. And honestly the last case would have been even more fun, had ALL the victims from the previous cases been involved. That would have been fantastic.

And, I don't know if that's a bug in my DS or my game or not... but there was no 'closing' anything. No reward for completing all the cases or even a mention that I'd completed them all. Might be nice if they'd had added something at the end like, you know, "Geesh, you did 'em all, well done."
