Welcome to CSIgamer- we love newbies, so don't worry!

As per your question, you don't drag the evidence to the lab machines- you give it to Greg, the lab technician. He will put the evidence at the lab machine [computer, microscope, etc.] for you. Then to look at the evidence, you click on the machine. The evidence available to be looked at with that machine will be at the top of your screen, for example, hairs will be able to be dragged down to the lens viewer of the microscope, etc.

Also, questions about the cases and the game are best posted in the Case help forums- this forum section is more for discussing the game, whether you liked it or not, etc. Technical questions concerning computer problems go in the Tech Help forums.

Drag objects to Greg if he is th eone who can help you, otherwise click on the machine that you like to use. Then you'll get another page where you can put your objects into the machine for investigations... Good luck!
