Dark Motives is the toughest CSI game?

Just looking at the case help posts and there are twice as many for Dark Motives as for any thing else. Are the cases THAT much tougher? I guess if people started playing the buggy unpatched version that might explain it, but maybe there's another reason..

If people played these games in the order they came out then the jump in difficulty from the first CSI to Dark Motives is much more pronounced than the later games. There was so much 'hand holding' in the first game that your partners practically solved the cases for you, but in DM not only are there less explicit hints, but the cases are longer and the evidence more well hidden.

They also want you to compare EVERYTHING, even when you know that a certain fingerprint or DNA sample belongs to suspect' X', if you haven't matched it to all the others then you can get held up. They also didn't really make it clear that some pieces of evidence need to be worked on in 'window' mode in the lab which would cause people to grind to a halt in certain cases.

Any other reason why more people have trouble with Dark Motives than the others?
