Why was Kylie murdered?

I completed the fifth case, but it is not clear to me why Kylie got murdered? Was it before or after Bernard's suicide and was there a link? Why did Bernard commit suicide?

Kylie(Karen Yardstrum) was murdered after Bernard committed suicide. You see, Bernard was seeing young Karen and thought that she was his girlfriend when, in fact, he was nothing but another notch on her bedpost. She dumped him and he , not being able to live without her, killed himself. Yes , the link was that Bernard was Leda's father.The reason for Kylie's murder was revenge, pure and simple.
