I NEED SOME help pls- reopening hotel location and case 1 evidence

I'm soooo stuck!!
I can't find Grissom, I don't even have the permission to reopen the Champagne Hotel, I guess I'm havin' the same problem as Whitefawn

When you ask Brass to reopen the Champagne Hotel and he says no he gives you the partial prints from Kylie's (Karen's) medicine bottle from case 1.

You have to compare these prints to the prints you should have taken from the photo album in Leda's apartment

don't forget to have greg re-examine the murder weapon from case 1 in case 5.

I have tried to play this scenario at least six-seven times now and I just get stuck. I have read the walktrough but that doesn´t help
I do everything the walktrough says but Brass never gives me the evidence from case 1. Can anyone tell me what I´m doing wrong???

try comparing each print to each other print.
kepp checkin evidence until the little tag goes from grey to gold.

I have got the tire tracks, truck missing, chloroform jar, seen greek book, material gel from glass cabinet, telephone, gambling chips, keys, paper cutting, album picture, finger prints from album, slug, footprints, i know her other name. Now what - i have been looking all day for my clues and cant find any. please help!!!

Did any of u get the charred piece of paper by the keys in Leda Apartment?.....U have to talk to leda again too....did u get the paint chip from the light post at the Gardens?....u have to get that and check it too...at some point u end up bk at the hotel from the first case too...not sure exactly how much evidence u actually have...hope this helps a bit more.

I have Leda in jail, found both burned notes, the bug thing at the gardens, got the warrant for the prints from Sophia's case, but can't find what I need for the warrant to open the Inn and Out (case #1) back up...Can anyone help? I'm way stuck and would be ever grateful. Thanks to you all, amkyr

You have to make sure you get 2 pieces of charred paper from leda's apartment. one is a suicide note and the other a newspaper clippin w/ a date...dust that one for fingerprints then pick it up.....then take it to greg....then talk to brass he should help you out w/ more evidence...
