After doing a search on the the tire tread from the garden, did you go to Captain Brass and asked him for the tread from the previous case? Compare the two and then proceed to the Doctor's House.

After talking to the hotel owner again, did you collect a sample of the cream smudge on the outside windowsill, just off the outside staircase? I t counts for 96 % of the total score.

Did you spray Ninhydrin on the partially- burned newspaper article to get partials? Those, along with the partials Brass gave you as well as the print from the inside of the photo album will help you.
