Hair on tissue- how do I pick it up and what to do with it?

I've tried to use the magnifying glass on the tissue but my pointer won't cause the zoom in on the tissue to happen.So I can't get in close to it.
Is there anyway I can go back & save my 3 previous games now & start over in A barrel full of corpses Game 4 It seems like such a waste of time to keep repeating the games over & over. But I think I should try it !!
which I've had to do wih CSI Miami. Because once I got the shatterd glass assembled & tried to double click the lens the print would'nt come up.
Besides I could't use the fingerprint powder on it anyway since the tool menu
was blacked out

P.S. everytime I try to download the patch I get a message that I have version 2 installed & I have to uninstall it to get version 1 But I can't find version 2 anywhere when I run my files. Can you help

The tool menu bar blackening out sounds familiar- that happened to me until I downloaded the patch- however I have version 1.01 [or something like that], not version 2. Are you downloading the patch from the ubisoft site ? [Methinks the current file on this site is not working anymore].

For the tissue, you should be using the magnifying scope, not the glass I believe, though the pointer disappearing in that game too has me confused.

Your game progress throughout the cases should save as long as you highlight the 1 once case you want to restart before you click the restart button I THINK- but don't quote me on that. My game is a couple of years old, so maybe there is a new version out there that has different quirks in it.

First: use your magnifying lens on it so that you may use the tweezers to take the strand of hair from it.

Second: Once you have the strand of hair, then use your latex gloves
to take the tissue itself.

Once you get the hair , show it to Greg. He'll tell you that he needs a sample from the vic with which he can compare it. Go to Doc Robbins. He'll give you the sample.Return to the Lab and show the sample from the vic to Greg. He will either say outright that the two samples don't match *or* he could say that the upshot is that the tissues were handled by someone else and that the hair is theirs, thereby casting suspicion on the tissue as murder weapon.
