HELP! Cant get into chat

I cant get into the web chat on the lab computer. It seems the only thing i can use there is the compare & search option. Help!!

The web chat link should be available to you once you have found all the evidence you need up to that point as well as asked all the questions you could have up to that point. I suspect that you might be missing a piece of evidence which is keeping you from the chat.

If you post what you have found and the reconstruction videos you have seen already, I [or another poster] might be able to help you find what you are missing.

I've followed the 'walk through' to the letter...casted the wound, examined the bullets, swabbed the blood, printed the gun & took it, scoped the tire iron & took the fiber & took the iron, went to the car & took the id card & the paper & luminoled & swabbed the blood...went to the morgue & asked al everything...to the lab & greg checked everything & i ran the prints...back to the scene & got the gun...back to the lab, clicked on the computer, but only 'search and compare' is lit up. help!!!

Hmmm- that's quite interesting- When you give the second gun [from under the car] to Greg, I believe he tells you to get on the computer as the chat room is on. Try handing the gun to Greg again and see if that works- otherwise, I'm stumped!

All Greg says when I hand him the gun is that its the murder weapon, nothing about a chat!! When I click on the computer in the lab, only the 'search and compare' link is lit up, none of the other ones...are they all supposed to be lit? I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, just in case, and it didnt work...AACCKKK!!!

The Search and Compare link is lit as soon as you have some evidence to compare- the web chat link should light up when you've gotten to that magical point- this case is probably the most linear of the bunch, so everything has to be done to get to that elusive milestone.

Have you checked to see if Brass has some questions to ask him? Maybe he's the one who tells you about the web chat? It's been a year, so my memory's rusty!

Try searching and comparing the prints again [the one on the first gun and the one on Deschamps ID card- you can scan the card in the computer.]

Have you looked at the thread in the microscope?

I fear something really small and blatant is the culprit in your problem!

Well you know that is interesting. Because I have everything and the webpage does not show up for me either.

I scanned the card, but do not get and option for any prints on the ID.

I have gotten everything from the crime scene. I talked to the coroner ... got the bullets .. gave everything to Greg, went back to get the gun from under the cop car. Gave it to Greg .. then nothing.

Please help. Also this is on the XBox so don't know if that makes a difference.
